Located right in the heart of the bustling Bangla Walking Road on Patong Beach, Smokey Monkey offers a hidden escape from the chaotic tourist scene. As soon as you step down the escalator to the basement floor, you’re immediately removed from the hustle and bustle of the street above. However, it’s important to note that since Patong Beach is a peak tourist area, prices for most products are marked up accordingly.

Smokey Monkey offers a decent range of mids to low-tier flower. We strongly recommend taking your time to inspect the flower before making any purchases, as the quality is inconsistent. While we didn’t try the edibles ourselves, they seemed fairly priced, which might be worth exploring if you’re more into that side of things.

Atmosphere & Service
What Smokey Monkey lacks in standout flower, it makes up for in atmosphere. This is the perfect spot to take a breather from the madness of Bangla Road, have a quick smoke, and unwind. The space is quiet and laid-back, providing a much-needed break from the tourist frenzy. The staff are friendly enough, but nothing particularly memorable stood out in terms of service.

If you’re not too impressed by the flower, Smokey Monkey’s drink offerings might catch your attention. The coffee here is really nice, and there’s a solid selection of cold beverages. We’d also recommend trying their milkshakes, which were surprisingly good and make for a refreshing treat after a long day.
